Licence & trial
The trial
Section titled “The trial”Thirty days, every feature, no card. The trial is a real licence key with an expiry date, not a separate mode — so nothing behaves differently during it, and reinstalling doesn’t reset the clock.
Request one on the download page; the key arrives by e-mail.
Activating
Section titled “Activating”- Open the Project palette.
- Click the licence button in the header.
- Paste the key and confirm.
The key is checked once against our server and then stored on the machine.
How many machines
Section titled “How many machines”One licence covers two machines — most people have a desktop and a laptop. Both can be active at the same time; you don’t need to release one to use the other.
Working offline
Section titled “Working offline”After activation the plugin re-checks the licence in the background from time to time. If it can’t reach the server it keeps working for 21 days from the last successful check.
A site visit without signal, a week in a place with bad wifi, or our server having a bad afternoon will not stop you drawing.
Moving to another machine
Section titled “Moving to another machine”If you replace a computer, release the old one first:
- Project palette → licence button.
- Release this machine.
If the old machine is gone — stolen, wiped, dead — write to support and we’ll release it from our side. You will not be told to buy a second licence because a laptop died.
When a subscription ends
Section titled “When a subscription ends”The plugin switches to read-only:
- models open, elements rebuild, drawings and IFC still export
- new elements cannot be created
Nothing you have already drawn is locked away, ever. Renewing puts everything back immediately.
