What changed.
Roughly monthly, except for crash fixes, which go out as soon as they are done. What is coming is on the roadmap.
1.0.52 November 2026
Speed on large models, IFC units, and fixes.
- Large models no longer stall SketchUp: switching storeys, clicking OK in an element dialog or in Project Settings, turning on Plan or FLAT, and editing slabs and walls next to pipework now take a moment instead of tens of seconds
- IFC quantities are written in metres, square metres and cubic metres, and lengths in property sets in millimetres. Models from earlier versions are converted when you open them (one Undo step); a model saved by 1.0.5 shows wrong quantities in the dialogs of an older version
- Net wall area and volume deduct the openings, by their real shape, in the wall schedule and in IFC
- Washbasins, baths, showers, WCs and kitchen units from the library have cold and hot water ports (WCs cold only). Objects placed earlier keep the old ports; place them again
- Pipe reducers are drawn as a tapered outline in plans, and rectangular reducers that change the aspect ratio are created instead of leaving a gap. Vertical rectangular ducts show their real cross-section in plans
- A route snaps only to ports of the system being drawn, so cold water no longer connects to a hot water outlet. Copied storeys keep the colours of MEP systems
- Wall chains and slab, roof and zone outlines close only when you click the first point, not when a point lands near it
- Corners between walls with different justification are mitred the right way round, and so are strip footings under them
- Undo after Stretch no longer leaves a wall, beam, footing, pipe or railing hidden
- The SITE switch hides the terrain in the working Plan as well, and turning FLAT off restores hand-painted terrain faces instead of painting the whole terrain one colour
- Merge Facade Edges removes the line at every slab edge, and two thin layers of a composition no longer merge into one band in the section fill
- Placing a library object reuses the definition already in the model, and the object sits on the surface under the cursor instead of sinking into the slab
- Slab defaults keep the Pset values entered in the defaults dialog
1.0.417 October 2026
Fixes.
- Hip roofs on a plan turned away from the model axes: a house with wings drawn at an angle no longer falls back to a flat roof
- No line across a roof plane where a wing splits one long eave into two parts. Existing roofs are fixed when you confirm them in the roof dialog
- Walls drawn in 3D stay on the storey floor: the preview no longer jumps up with Shift, and the walls are no longer created above the floor
- Column grids, columns and zones drawn in 3D in a storey below ±0.000 are placed on that storey’s floor instead of on zero. Slabs and footings do the same when you click into empty space
- Columns placed by a column grid are hatched in plans and sections
- Storeys below ±0.000 are counted downwards. Changing the height of a basement keeps its ceiling and moves its floor; inserting or duplicating a storey below zero pushes the lower storeys down instead of lifting the whole building
- The FLAT button is off in a new model, so the first click turns it on
1.0.312 October 2026
Trial without a key, and fixes.
- The 30-day trial now starts inside SketchUp. No key, no e-mail, no internet connection: install, open the License window and click Start 30-day trial
- Need longer to decide? A one-time key for 14 more days is available by e-mail
- Deactivate this computer works on Windows — the confirmation used to be invisible, so the button did nothing
- After you enter a storey by double-clicking it, railings, pipes and library objects are placed on that storey’s floor, not on the storey last picked in the Project panel
- Switching the FLAT drawing view off no longer leaves elements without their textures when Project Settings or Purge Unused was used in between
1.0.27 October 2026
Fixes.
- Property dialogs no longer write values into the wrong element when a dialog was left open and another element was picked. The window title now says which element it belongs to
- Window & door schedule: subtotals and the total row are filled in, with area counted for every piece
- Multi-leaf windows: leaf widths are entered as real percentages, and the leaf layout saved in the tool defaults is kept
- Surface materials from the SketchUp library are found on Windows as well; a message appears when a material is missing instead of nothing happening
- No stray line around the walls in 3D after changing an element’s material
- Custom window shapes are set with Insert Opening → Custom Window only; the faulty “Pick shape” button in the opening dialog is gone
