1. Download and install

- Open Window → Extension Manager in SketchUp.
- Click Install Extension and choose the downloaded
.rbzfile. - Restart SketchUp.
2. Start the trial
- Open Extensions → Archeform → License… — it also opens by itself the first time you pick a drawing tool.
- Tick the licence agreement and click Start 30-day trial.
That is all. There is no key to wait for and nothing to sign up to; the thirty days start on that computer the moment you click.
Already have a licence?
In the same window, paste the key from your order e-mail, tick the licence agreement and click Activate.

Before you install
- SketchUp Pro or Studio, version 2024, 2025 or 2026
- Windows or macOS
- SketchUp Go and SketchUp Free will not work — they have no Ruby API
- Full IFC metadata needs SketchUp 2026 — see supported versions
What to do first
Set up storeys, draw a wall, put a window in it, and export an IFC. That is about twenty minutes and it exercises the whole chain. Start with your first storey.

When the trial ends
The extension switches to read-only: your models still open and export, you simply cannot draw or edit elements. Nothing you drew is locked away. Enter a paid key in the License window and everything is back at once.
